Our client, a prominent Asian bank with an extensive global presence encompassing over 500 branches and offices across 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, is seeking Consultants to join their dynamic team for an exciting project.

The Technology and Operations division consists of five specialized teams: Business Partnership, Technology, Operations, Risk Governance, and Planning Support and Services. These teams collaborate closely to leverage technology's capabilities in supporting both our physical and digital banking services and operations. This involves the development, centralization, and standardization of technology systems for banking operations, both in Malaysia and international branches.

With over 80 years of history in the banking industry, our client is actively expanding its presence in Malaysia. The chosen candidate will work in a newly established technology center in Kuala Lumpur, as part of the Technology and Operations team, contributing to the creation of innovative financial technology solutions that drive business growth and technological advancement.

Responsibilities

1. Reporting to the Delivery Lead, you will be a part of the IT Integrated Fraud Management (IFM) Team within the Group Risk Management department. Your role will involve:

Technical Analysis and Development: Taking charge of IFM-related changes and enhancements.

Vendor Systems Support: Implementing and maintaining vendor system components.

Level 3 Production Support: Providing crucial support for production issues.

You will also be responsible for IFM application development, implementation, and support during SIT/UAT testing. This includes:

• Gathering and analyzing requirements.
• Participating in the design and development phases.
• Involvement in unit and system integrated testing.
• Providing production and UAT/SIT support.
• Planning, preparing, and executing system rollouts and implementations.

Your specific responsibilities include:

Requirements Management:

• Collaborating with System Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to collect, understand, and finalize functional and technical requirements.

Design & Development:

• Partnering with Architects and Development Managers to ensure solution designs adhere to enterprise design principles, security standards, and control standards.
• Assisting Development Managers in overseeing application teams to implement enhancements.

Test Management:

• Coordinating with the Test Manager to ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT testing, regression/performance/load testing, and application security testing, all while maintaining high-quality results.

Implementation Management:

• Preparing technical implementation plans across application teams.
• Coordinating technical implementation activities with the release team and application teams to ensure a smooth production cutover and providing post-implementation support as necessary.

Requirements

• To be considered for this role, you should possess:3-6 years of relevant experience in a techno-functional role.
• Proficiency in Net Guardian (IFM).
• Hands-on experience with MariaDB.
• Expertise in Open-Source technologies such as Python.
• Experience and knowledge of Aldon LM(e) product and setup are advantageous.

Key Skills

• In addition to the above, the following key skills are highly desirable:Unix/Linux OS and Linux Scripting, along with infrastructure knowledge.
• Familiarity with the Spark framework.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark scripting.
• Strong skills in SQL scripting and MariaDB.
• Knowledge of Scala and RESTful API development.
• Experience with Control M scheduler.
• The ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
